RBI appoints Ravi Shankar as Executive Director for statistics department

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) appointed Ravi Shankar as Executive Director with effect from 1 July 2026. He previously served as Adviser-in-Charge of the Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM) and will continue to oversee the same department in his elevated role.
