The West Bengal government launched the Annapurna Yojana (Annapurna Bhandar), under which eligible women receive ₹3,000 per month directly in their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). In the first phase, about 28 lakh women (2,825,769 beneficiaries) will receive the benefit, with the list updated periodically.
